I bought an old drum kit from a friend somewhere around 15 years ago. I've always wanted to be a drummer, but never got around to really making myself practice. Lately, I've been pushing myself to commit more to the instruments I kinda sorta know how to play. So I've been practicing drumming, and this is the song I've been playing over and over, so I decided to go ahead and record it.
I first heard this song covered live by David Bazan, but it's originally a Vic Chesnutt song with a devastating story. It still gives me chills.
