I think this was the second attempt at a second song because the first attempt was no good. I remember being lucky enough to have Tory drop by while he was in town to track drums. We set him up in my kitchen in Lafayette and it was like old times, putting drums in whatever room they’d fit in, stringing up two or three mics. Also, I wish I had sung “it only takes the smallest of your words,” instead of slightest. Oh well.
