My memories of writing and recording this song are that I had just gotten a vibrato pedal and I wanted to use it, so this song is soaked in it. I did not have a full drum kit set up, so I covered my huge floor Tom with a sheet and played it with a mallet. You can audibly hear me adjust the sheet twice in the track, which is kind of my favorite detail when I listen back now. The other thing is I didn’t know how to end it, so I noodled many tracks and used digital overdrive on them to make the noise at the end. Still one of my favorite EJ songs as of now (2020).
