Around the end of 2019, I was hit with some pretty heavy death anxiety. Having grown up in the church, I logically understood that I would die, but fully believed I’d go to heaven and keep on livin’! Last year, while in a yoga class, I again had the realization that I was going to die, but that I also no longer believe in heaven and that this is it. It was a rough few months, and I’m still not excited that I’m going to die. Seriously, it was hard. A relationship was lost and other relationships were strained as a result. I’m all good now, but this song was part of what helped me process it all and get to that point. Also, first song I used my Electric XII on.
