I couldn’t play this song now even if I wanted to. I can’t get the timing of the picking down. I like the electric guitars here, plugged directly into the interface with no plugins or anything. Some of the keys are my voice through a Casio Sk-1, which was fun. And those woodwinds! Marybeth Kern, a legitimate big deal, did them for like $50. She gave me SOOO much and wrote her parts. I just told her to channel something early Sufjan would do. I think she charges like $300 now to do it, so I’m a very lucky fella. Over dramatic lyrics as per yoozh.
