I wrote and recorded this song 6/5/18 in a few hours. I'm sure that probably shows, but I really fought the urge to overdub the shit out of this guy. I'm pretty pleased with the restraint shown. I apologize for the incredibly over-dramatic lyrics. I mean every word. I think

I hate the sun for still making it's way through.

when I'm still in bed a quarter after two.

outside your door, you locked me in the hall.
But, you can't blame yourself for very long.
I wish you sleep. I wish you'd call.

Don't pull the leaves from the tree
(They're gonna fall on their own eventually)

You don't want me there to change your mind,
so I'm staying put where I'll be out of sight.
Just give it time and I'll fall out of mind.
I'm doing better, and I'm walking fine.
